Every child is unique, and every family's journey is different. A piece of advice that I love to give to parents is to focus on the positive. It's easy to get bogged down in the challenges associated with being DHH, but it's important to meet yourself where you are- give yourself and your child grace, and space to feel what you feel and acknowledge that you might feel sad or frustrated.
