According to variety the St. Lunatics are accusing Nelly of copyright infringement for uncredited AND unpaid contributions to his 2000 debut album #CountryGrammar. The group, which includes Ali Jones (Ali), Torhi Harper (Murphy Lee), Robert Kyjuan (Kyjuan), and Lavell Webb (City Spud), filed the lawsuit in New York Federal Court yesterday. _______________________________ Chile, they’re claiming #Nelly failed to properly acknowledge their work on the album, which helped launch his mainstream career in the early 2000s.
