⭐️ FITNESS TIP FRIDAY ⭐️ . Here we go…THURSTERS! A fantastic total body exercise that focuses on a 2 prime movements: squats & OH Press. Within these 2 big movers you will also find hip, knee & ankle flexion & extension, Abdominal contraction (bracing), shoulder & elbow flexion (ext. in elbow as well), and back extensors - all in all, we’re working LOTS of muscles major & minor! To perform correctly you’ll need to ensure a proper warm-up of all the prime movers as well as your CV system. If Thrusters are new please take care in being cautious or seek an experienced coach (or come see us at UA!!)! . Start by picking equipment if choice (shown above is BB, DB & KB) then bring the weight to shoulder height, perform a full-depth squat and as you begin to stand up, do so with some speed to help accelerate the weights up and over head.
