🌸 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🌸 During my chemotherapy, I managed to keep working and even did some swimming. 💪🏊‍♀️ Wishing the best of luck to Jenny at today’s Ironman Wales! She also participated in our June swimming challenge, “Swim For Her,” which returns in October with our amazing partners Zoggs UK to raise crucial funds for Breast Cancer Now. Jenny’s story is truly inspiring: “I’ve always been active and loved competitive swimming since I was 8. In May 2023, while juggling a full-time job, family, and Ironman training, I casually mentioned a lump in my breast during a routine checkup. The nurse’s serious response made me follow up, and it turned out to be a critical catch. The lump wasn’t painful and didn’t affect my daily life.” Jenny continues, “I don’t think I’ll finish the Ironman on Sunday since I’m still not fully well.
