With the regular season coming to a close, Denver's Nikola Jokic is making a strong case for his second consecutive NBA MVP award. After dropping an absurd stat line last night against the Hornets, Jokic claimed 62/100 of 1st place votes in ESPN's latest MVP Straw Poll. The poll is sent to 100 media members across each of the NBA's markets to best emulate the real vote. The Nuggets may be fighting to avoid the play-in, but Jokic is putting up better numbers than last season without his team's other two stars.
