We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Al McCoy, an Arizona legend and a member of the Fiesta Bowl family. The Hall-of-Fame voice of the Suns, McCoy was on the original committee that submitted an application to the NCAA to create a new college football bowl game in Arizona in 1971. McCoy was honored for all his contributions to our organization and our state in 2022, when he was presented with a #FiestaBowl Yellow Jacket and served as one of the Grand Marshals in the annual #FiestaBowlParade. #ThankYouAl 🎙️
