“Preparing for media day is probably the most stressful part of my job. I don’t consider portrait photography to be my specialty. I prefer to document what is in front of me no matter how chaotic. Creating what is in front of me from nothing — it’s definitely out of my comfort zone. As we were brainstorming ideas for the photo station we narrowed the theme to something NW inspired, but I kept coming back to an idea that I’ve been wanting to try for a very long time - shooting from below a sheet of plexiglass. We pivoted to this idea at the last minute and along with our creative director @marmil83 we came up with the poster concept. How cool would it be to have a poster that kids could hang on their ceiling instead of their walls?  Once we settled on the plan, I enlisted help from the conversions crew at Moda Center.
