Meet Katie, another one of our Preaching Interns this semester! She will be preaching on Sunday, April 16th and May 7th! Biochemistry major and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies minor. Read a bit below on why she wanted to be a preaching intern! “The biggest reason I applied to be a preaching intern was because I want to learn about how we can use scripture and theology to connect with each other. I also want to explore seminary as a career, and this seemed like a great first step. Plus, the other interns are awesome, and I'm loving spending time with them learning and growing! I'm exploring how theology can guide us in radical love and community liberation and how we can use scripture that is thousands of years old to inform our activism and support of other community members. It's been an exciting process, and I can't wait to learn more!”
