On National Gymnastics Day, St. Louis celebrates the sport of gymnastics and all the amazing athletes, coaches and fans who have helped take the sport to new heights! Since 2000, the Gateway City has hosted nine major gymnastics events including the 2000 & 2012 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, 2016 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Men’s Gymnastics, 2016 P&G Gymnastics Championships – Women’s Gymnastics, 2017 & 2018 NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships, 2018 SEC Gymnastics Championships, 2021 USA Gymnastics Championships (rhythmic, acrobatic, trampoline & tumbling), and the 2021 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Gymnastics.
