fall out boy // riot fest // 2024 Day one is in the books. Cards are off loaded. Legs are tired. Food has been eaten. So, here are a few quick selects of Fall Out Boy from tonight at Riot Fest. I don’t think I could have asked for a better way to see this band for the first time. I remember all of the times sitting in my room watching the “Grand Theft Autumn” music video on FUSE, or listening to the acoustic version on an Atticus: Dragging the Lake sampler. Or just wearing out my Take this to Your Grave and From Under the Cork Tree CDs. So it was nice to have a small full circle moment, finally getting to document a band that was remarkably formative for me. Photographed for highlightzine
