The band is warming up for its Bands of America prelims performance at the Kelly Reeves Stadium in Round Rock. Their performance begins at 12:48 p.m. and will decide whether or not the macbandofficial advances to finals later tonight. Senior James Nesbitt, bass section leader, said he’s prepared for the day ahead. “I’m looking forward to just really a good run,” he said. “This early on in the season we’re just focused on cleaning up our reps and making sure that we can stay in time and stay with each other.” With prelims just around the corner, Nesbitt is hopeful they will make it to the finals but is focused on the performance coming up. “We’ll see,” he said. “Go Mac.” Pictures by Wren Vanderford and Lillian Gray.
