Did you really visit Durham if you didn't see Major? 🐂 Major the Bull is a 1 ton, 10 ft tall statue that sits just off of Foster Street in the CCB Plaza. Commissioned in 2003, it's the perfect mascot for a place known as the Bull City! As you may or may not know, we are big fans of stuff like this (maybe you've seen my picture in front of the giant iron in Asheville, or, ahem, the fountain here in our hometown of Savannah), so OF COURSE we had to stop and get a picture! p.s.
