Seeing the maple leaf 🍁 and what it symbolizes is never lost on Canadians.    Athletes usually see it when they race on the world stage, but they were able to take in the significance Canadians had in Normandy 🇫🇷 at the Juno Beach Centre. From reading letters from soldier’s families, being brought into bunkers and standing on Juno Beach, they were able to take a moment to reflect on the impact Canada has had on the rest of the world. _____ Les Canadiens ne perdent jamais de vue la feuille d’érable 🍁 et ce qu’elle symbolise.  Les athlètes la voient habituellement lorsqu’ils participent à des compétitions internationales, mais ils ont pu se rendre compte de l’importance que les Canadiens ont eue en Normandie 🇫🇷 au Centre Juno Beach. En lisant des lettres de familles de soldats, en étant conduits dans des bunkers et en se tenant sur la plage Juno, ils ont pu prendre un moment pour réfléchir à l’impact que le Canada a eu sur le monde entier.
