We had such a fun time in New York City hosting a Fore the Ladies Golf Clinic and Happy Hour 9 for accentureus! We teamed up with Accenture Golf Club and their Women’s ERG for a panel and day of golf that reminded us how important experience in the game can be to growing your skills and career. A few things we learned in our time with Accenture: • Showing up with a positive attitude can outweigh your actual play on the golf course. • Mentors are important, but just as key is having a sponsor who will advocate for you even when you’re not in the room. • Invite others along for the ride. If you aren’t being invited to play, your colleagues may not realize you play golf in the first place. Take it upon yourself to put together a round with colleagues.
