Russ Myer, PT, PhD (a combined PT/MS graduate from the Pitt PT '82) was in town for Pitt homecoming. He is also a proud alumni drummer of the Pitt Band. Russ is the Executive Director of the Capital Region Nordic Alliance Inc., specializing in adaptive Nordic sports and navigation orienteering for persons with low vision in Trail Orienteering. He helped establish national and international programs for the visually impaired, veterans with spinal cord, and upper and lower extremity amputations, as well as PTSD thru his innovative programs combining sports, fitness and fun. #PittPT #PittProud
