A before & after color test with some footage from the Percy Jackson project I worked on for chaboybeshoy. Trying to see what I kind of color I can pull out of Adobe Premiere with its native Lumetri Color panel and the Film Convert plugin. Went pretty dark but kept the shadows intact. His hair could’ve used maybe a little more light or backlight 🤷‍♂️ It works. Brought highlights down; I like them to live in the 80 range. A subtle vignette to help focus the subject. Nothing crazy. Lumetri is clunky though. Premiere can handle it if you need it to but ehh DaVinci is where it’s at for heavy color grading🤌 Shot on BMPCC 4K #bmpcc4k #percyjackson #colorgrading #filmconvert
