Project Summary: Swallowing-related respiratory complications are the leading cause of early mortality in sporadic inclusion body myositis (IBM), though the physiologic mechanisms underlying such issues remain unclear. This study aims to define IBM’s impact on swallowing and airway clearance function using well-tested assessment methods, helping uncover key respiratory-swallowing relationships to improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment. #PittSHRS
