Iceland Travel Hack — Did you know this?? SOME restrictions ⤵️
First off—
Iceland IS absolutely breathtaking, but heads up—food can be *super* expensive!
Luckily, we learned that Icelandic customs lets you bring in food (*some restrictions). So we dehydrated meals before the trip, and it saved us SO much money!
For $150, we checked one bag ✈️. It was filled with dehydrated meals and our fav snacks to keep us going, and it was totally worth it…
BEST PaRT — Not only did we save, but it gave us TONS of FLEXIBILITY — no need to rush back to find open restaurants.
And while we splurged on a few things, being vegetarians, we wouldn’t have had many options 😬.
Instead, we got to catch sunsets without stress, afford pricey local experiences, hunt northern lights, and immediately get cozy in our gocampers van!
What do you think?
