Then, I try to do it myself and proceed to spend 4 hours on a literal SECOND of animation that is approximately 10% as cool as the badass thing you saw prior. This is a reminder to use your artist ego to progress on your journey. while this obviously isn't winning me any awards, I am so glad I took the leap to a full character rig. Just keep working bit by bit on the best work you can do, and eventually those 10 years will go by LOL.
