During the filming of Rear Window, director Alfred Hitchcock explained a stunt to Grace Kelly where she would scale the apartment across the courtyard. To the surprise of Hitchcock and co-star Jimmy Stewart, by the time he was finished explaining, Kelly (the daughter and sister of gold medal-winning Olympians) climbed the 3 story building without any stunt coordination. ⁠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is also the only film in which Kelly is seen smoking.
