The School of Theatre and Dance ballstatetheatredance is staging "Kinky Boots" Sept. 20-21, 25-28 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 22, 28-29 at 2:30 p.m. in University Theatre. The show tells the story of Charlie Price, a young man who inherits his father's shoe factory in an industrial town in England. Challenged with finding a new niche shoe to produce, Price meets drag artist Lola and the two work together to create a line of heeled boots for drag queens- Lola's Kinky Boots.
