The Brisbane Bandits Academy was thrilled to once again be invited to compete in the 2024 Catch Ball Classic, hosted by our esteemed friends in Japan on Sunday, September 15th. A select team of eight Bandits Academy All-Stars participated in this global-friendly competition, engaging in catch ball with players from around the world via Zoom. The event was a unique opportunity to not only showcase their skills but also immerse themselves in different baseball traditions and cultures. The team delivered an impressive performance, scoring 83 catches in just two minutes of play. This effort placed them fourth among the international teams and ninth overall—a fantastic achievement among tough competition.
