The reason why that back is so sturdy is because you’re not putting yourself in a calorie deficit. Tracking your calories is necessary to ensure that you are in that deficit. The key to weight loss is burning more calories than you consume. You need to know what you’re actually putting in your body and not just assume. Treat your calories the same way you treat your bank account. Invest in a device that can track the calories you burn or atleast invest in an app (ex. MyFitnessPal) to track what calories you’re depositing in your body.
