Meet 🥞 Pancake the pangolin! After being rescued from a market, the odds were stacked against Pancake’s survival. She was in critical condition and in need of emergency veterinary care. Professionals with lctwildlife 🚑 were able to provide the treatment Pancake needed to survive and make a full recovery. After just three months of rehabilitation, she was successfully released back to the wild. Pangolins are considered the most illegally trafficked mammals in the world, with Critically Endangered species like the Chinese Pangolin on the brink of extinction. Thanks to the Rapid RESCUE Fund led by rewild, with support from the EU_Partnerships, the Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife has relocated to a larger campus, constructing new modern facilities, including a wildlife hospital.
