Absolutely Heartbroken by the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Helene here in Western North Carolina. The beautiful landscapes I’ve fallen in love with , the homes and towns we love, all bear the scars of nature’s force. I don’t think I ever imagined something this devastating could happen here in NC but it did. But amidst the loss, there’s also a deep sense of hope and resilience. Our statewide community is strong, and we’ll rebuild together. Stay safe and support each other however you can.
