The Department of Physical Therapy has a great reputation for international outreach and this summer was no exception! Associate Professor Dr. Victoria Hornyak and alumna Dr. Gloria Gatti (DPT ’06) recently traveled to Nairobi, Kenya as volunteers for The Jackson Clinics Foundation to teach a two-week continuing education course in Geriatric Physical Therapy to physiotherapists. Of course, no trip to East Africa would be complete without a safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Although no “Pitt Panthers” were spotted, they were able to see a jaw-dropping variety of African wildlife during the Great Migration period. #PittPT #PittProud #H2P #BoldMovesSHRS
