Did you catch us at Sheepvention? ⁣ Before you ask, it's a rural expo for all things farming 🚜🌾🐑 ⁣ ⁣ Our members, Acting Sergeant Graeme and Leading Senior Constables Keleigh and Mal spent the day chatting with locals about rural crime prevention. ⁣ ⁣ As a Divisional Firearm Officer (DFO), Graeme also shared a message to farmers to maintain safety of their firearm (at all times). ⁣ ⁣ ❌ Do not leave firearms unattended in vehicles. ⁣ ✔️ Ensure they are unloaded and secured when not in use. ⁣ Additionally, do not store firearms in sheds that are miles away from the main house 🏡 ⁣ ⁣ Our DFOs are based in the regions to support the firearms community and ensure safe storage and use of firearms.
