Swab right to make a match & save a life!

Last year,
@ronnychieng shared
@kinagrannis’ post about finding a blood stem cell donor match for her mom who is living with a blood cancer. I learned that the match is based on genetics and strongly determined by ethnicity. There is a severe lack of Asian donors in the registry, so I signed up. Got a free kit in the mail, swabbed my cheeks, and sent it back.
Recently, I was determined to be a perfect match for someone with leukemia. I agreed to donate and was surprised by how the process was easy yet impactful. Now there’s someone out there with my stem cells and they get a second chance at life 🤯
Please consider signing up if you are eligible to donate. You could save someone’s life!
