A camper van gives you the flexibility to explore on your own terms, stopping wherever the landscape calls (and it will, a lot!). It’s your TRANSPORTATION & HOTEL all in one 👍. 🚫 Don’t: Forget to pay parking fees! Make sure to check for signs & pay accordingly—fines are expensive and sneak up on you! We were super careful and still missed one, costing $45. ✅ Do: Take turns on one-lane bridges. Iceland’s rural roads are filled with single-lane bridges. Be courteous, yield to the other driver, and share the road ✌️. ✅ Do: Camp only in designated campsites.(there is no wild—free—camping!) Iceland is serious about preserving its natural beauty.
