Last week, our #CollegeAmbassador outings kicked off in #Colorado! Josie and Andrew from Colorado State University led an unforgettable outdoor adventure at Duncan’s Ridge in Fort Collins, Colorado! They collaborated with a fraternity on campus, bringing them on a rock climbing excursion, choosing this incredible spot for its easy access, top-rope setup, and breathtaking views of public lands with RockyNPS in the distance. For many of the participants, it was their first time climbing outdoors, and they were eager to learn! They kicked off with a lesson on how to belay and tie a figure-eight knot to ensure safety. The group quickly got the hang of it, taking on three different climbs with varying levels of difficulty.
