VCappella performing the Alma Mater at Saturday morning’s service at Village Church in Burbank. The Alma Mater was composed and presented by teachers Phillis Kasperson and Freda Kruger, as well as board member Don Hamilton, in 1953. Since then, the song has been performed at important events, including graduation ceremonies, and after athletic contests.
