Tuukka Rask was the goalie I grew up watching. I remember when he first came in as a rookie right as I became a hockey fan, and as I got older I got to watch him break records and become the best goalie in franchise history. As a goalie myself who knows how difficult the position is, I always appreciated how effortless he made it look. It’s pretty surreal to think we’ll never hear another “Tuuuuuuuk” cheer after a big save ever again.
