Can you see me? 🧐 This is one heck of a food plot 😳 I always try and setup my farms to have pulling power for miles. Do you need to have giant food plots like this to kill big bucks? Absolutely not. In fact, 2 of my 200s came off farms, where I didn’t have any food plots at all. But if you want to pull big bucks from your neighborhood you absolutely need to have big food plots or grain plots. Because when all the food runs out everywhere else, deer will move in and give you an opportunity either to harvest them, or in many cases, just survive the harsh gun seasons and harsh winters. Inevitably, allowing them to get to maximum maturity which leads to maximum growth. So if your farmer hasn’t picked all the grain where you hunt, try and to plead and bargain with him, work for him on the weekends in exchange for a couple acres of beans or corn, help with fence, whatever it takes, do it.
