Ahoy, mateys! The high seas have landed at AHS as the student production of Treasure Island set sail last night. The play continues on stage Oct. 4-5 at 7 p.m. in the Arapahoe Theater. Student director and senior Moya Goodiel said the play is a whole lot of fun. “It [has] pirates and there’s a lot of stage fighting. We have such an awesome set [and we] have a giant ship,” she said. “It is the coolest piratey thing that you will ever experience.” Goodiel adds that everyone involved in the play has put in a lot of work and wants a good audience to show it off to. “I don’t think you guys realize how much time and energy goes in to the tech and acting side of things,” she said.
