While I know that @jaxredline (my 16-year-old Baja 1000 teammate) was disappointed to not finish his first ever rally, I was really impressed at how well he did on the gravel stages of the New England Forest Rally. There was a lot of work to get him ready (several schools, including pace notes school with my co-driver Alex), and he put in a BIG, focused effort. He started off the event conservative, but eventually put in two top-7 stage times, and was sitting in the top-10 overall! The kid is good and works hard.
