Meet two young, inspiring girls – and fellow wish kids - from Rutherfordton, NC, who will soon have their wishes granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. With the help pf generous supporters, Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina arranged trips to Walt Disney World to fulfill both girls’ wishes later this month. To commence the wish granting celebrations, MAWCWNC teamed up with the Carolina Renaissance Festival to honor these two special wish kids as 'Royalty for the Day'.’ During the joyous occasion, Chrisley (age 4) and Maisyn (age 6) had the delight of being treated as honorary princesses, surrounded by the Queen and her royal entourage. Inspiringly, these wish kids happen to be cousins, who are both bravely facing different critical illnesses. Maisyn suffers from a nervous system disorder, while Chrisley is currently battling leukemia and is anticipated to complete treatment within the next year.
