Happy Green Sports Day!♻️ Each year, the global sports community comes together to increase environmental awareness, take sustainable action and celebrate the positive impact sports can have. We stand in solidarity with the Green Sports Alliance. Here are some of the actions the Barracuda Championship has taken to maintain a sustainable tournament ⬇️ 💚 Promote Bike to the Barracuda, inviting spectators to bike from downtown Truckee to Tahoe Mountain Club's Old Greenwood. This works to reduce carbon emissions and minimize the tournament’s impact on the environment from both sides of the ropes. 💚 We have partnered with TTCF and its Forest Futures Campaign to highlight its work to minimize the risk of extreme wildfires through better preparation, investment in forest health and infrastructure, and diversification of local economies. 💚 Inspire our players to take sustainable actions both on and off the course.
