The good news: we started day 2 in the lead of the East African Safari Classic Rally, plus @alexgelsomino and I won a stage. The bad news: we got a double puncture just 6k into the 100.4k (62 miles) stage 5 and we lost a lot of time. We ended the day 3rd overall, but 4 min off the lead. There’s a lot of rally left (we are only 1/4 of the way done), so we have a lot of miles to gain that time back. Oh, and the Tuthill Porsche 911 handled this flat out 5th gear jump like a champ! 📹: Geoff Mayes #flatout#Porsche911#TuthillPorsche#EastAfricanSafariClassicRally
