Playing with light and shadow while getting creative is one of my favorite things to challenge myself with when taking couple and bridal portraits!✨ But being able to do this kind of magic on a highly stressful and busy day can really put you to the test! Imagine only getting 15 minutes with a couple to be able to document their love and connection so they can remember those beautiful moments for a lifetime? It’s quite a bit of pressure and if you aren’t present and grounded, it can have you all over the place rushing and not getting quality portraits that are going to be memorable. I find SO much beauty in the unseen and non traditional portraits that can maintain my couple’s privacy but still document that love and connection through the rich colors, patterns, light and shadow- a tapestry of beauty that’s just waiting to be captured!
