We did it. The greatest day in US Men’s soccer in over a decade. Don’t let anyone tell you your excitement is unwarranted. Blood, sweat, and tears went into making sure we got out of our group. Today, we had the chance to witness what American fans are all about in both Boston and Washington DC. Two watch parties packed to the brim. Brothers in arms as we sang the national anthem, beat the drums, and wept at the final whistle. We’re all still reeling from that second half, but we can breathe a little easier tonight. We passed the first hurdle, and now it’s a free for all. Why not get carried away? The boys will give their all on Saturday, and all of us fans here at home will do the same.
