Pinwheel Christmas Cookies 🍪❤️💚 I adapted the sugar cookie recipe from my cookbook to make these cookies, and they turned out perfectly! INGREDIENTS: -3 cups flour -1 tsp baking powder -1/2 tsp salt -1 cup unsalted butter, room temp -1 cup sugar -1 tbsp vanilla extract -2 large eggs -red and green food coloring -sprinkles 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In a separate bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the vanilla and continue beating. 2. Set the mixture to low and gradually add in the eggs and flour mixture. Mix until a dough has formed. 3. Divide the dough between two bowls, coloring one bowl red and the other green. Wrap each ball of dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. 4. Remove from the fridge and roll each ball between two sheets of parchment paper until flat.
