🚨 Child Stealing Arrest 🚨 Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a Criminal Threats call in Newhall. The suspect sent a threatening text message to his estranged wife and unlawfully took their 11-year-old child. Due to a custody order that was already in place, this meant the suspect also committed parental abduction. The child was safely reunited with his mother before the suspect fled from deputies. Thanks to the victim’s swift actions and help from witnesses, detectives obtained a search warrant for his residence and a few days later were able to detain the suspect. The suspect is facing multiple charges, including child stealing and illegal possession of firearms.
