March On Festival Day 1 Recap: In partnership with the National Archives, March On proudly celebrated the centennial of civil rights icon James Baldwin. The sold-out event kicked off with a screening of the powerful documentary James Baldwin: The Price of the Ticket, featuring interviews with Maya Angelou, Amiri Baraka, and Baldwin himself. The afternoon continued with a compelling panel discussion moderated by Anthony Coley, where filmmaker Karen Thorsen and Dr. Frank Leon Roberts reflected on Baldwin’s legacy.
