Hole-in-one! Connor Jackson ’26 recorded a golf rarity on the biggest stage with a hole-in-one during the All-Catholic team championships. Jackson scored a “1” on the 167-yard third hole at Springville Country Club. Jackson and his teammates were honored as the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association regular season champions for the third straight season. Nichols, the only team to beat Canisius during the regular season in the season’s first match, won Tuesday’s title. Coach Joe Mitchell and the Crusaders finished atop the Division A league standings with an 11-1 record. The All-Catholic Individual Championships are next Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Cherry Hill Club in Fort Erie, Ontario.
