The plaintiff had been hired in August 2023 as a school safety officer. She alleged that BUSD engaged in retaliation and gender-based discrimination, as well as failure to protect the plaintiff from discrimination and harassment when terminating her employment in January 2024, according to the lawsuit, filed Sept. 3.
