✨Meet the Bullneck Seahorse—a tiny marine marvel so small, it could fit right on your finger! But here’s the wild part: no one has ever seen this elusive creature alive in the wild. The seahorse has only ever been scientifically documented a handful of times after being pulled up in fishing nets. Christina Biggs, Re:wild's lost species program officer, and Justine Gordon, a marine biologist with Oceanreef Aquaculture Australia, visited fishing communities in Australia and learned that though there haven't been any recent sightings, some fishers do remember seeing the Bullneck Seahorse. The search for Re:wild's most wanted lost species is supported by the Colossal Foundation (colossal) Now, we're preparing for the first-ever marine expedition by the #SearchforLostSpecies to try to track down this mysterious seahorse in its deep water habitat. Tap the link in bio for all the details! 🌊🐚
