Turn Blue. The morning kickoff was tough to work around, but that wasn’t going to stop French fans from starting their day with a nice brew, some croque monsieurs, omelettes, and of course, Les Bleus. Félix Restaurant in NYC has been opening up early for all of France’s matches, and this closing group stage game wasn’t going to be the exception. With France essentially qualified, it was a relaxed atmosphere as fans started their day with classic French bites and the game on at the end of the cafe. Even if the result didn’t go their way, it was nice to be transported to Paris for one morning. Expect France to turn it up come the knockout stages.
