Pinch us! ✨ We still can’t believe we got to spend a day on our family’s regenerative organic rice farm with the team from wholefoods 👇 🌾 First stop? Our nursery, where baby rice is born… or where our rice doctors (yep!) study, select, and cross natural, non-GMO varieties of rice for exceptional taste, quality AND compatibility with our regenerative organic farming practices. 👩‍🌾 Next, we got into hip waders and out in the fields to see our regenerative organic farming practices in action—like using water to kill weeds instead of dousing our fields with chemicals. ⬆️ We climbed to the top of the silos (12 stories high!) where we use natural methods (no chemical fumigants!) to dry and store our rice until it’s milled to order. 🦆 And we even got to release ducklings!
