We loved catching up with author Ken Samen ‘92 during Homecoming and Family Weekend. He graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Beaver College and met his wife, Melissa Samen ‘93, during his time in Glenside. For years, Ken has volunteered with the University in many capacities. Currently he serves as Representative at Large on the Alumni Association’s Advisory Council and is a member of the Professional Development & Mentorship Committee. Ken’s favorite memory of college, besides meeting Melissa, was his nightly routine of getting spicy curly fries and a chocolate shake from The Chat, which was originally located where the bookstore is today.
