On Wednesday, October 9, TanenbaumCHAT was privileged to welcome Shye Klein to our school for the second time this year. Shye is a 27-year-old Israeli-Canadian photographer who went from capturing moments of joy to witnessing the chaos and horror at the Supernova Music Festival on October 7. After Shye’s talk in the Hennick Family Atrium, our Israeli Engagement Shlicha, Shira Meirman, gave him a tour of our Israel Council’s “Echoes of Courage: The Nova Festival Exhibit.” This immersive installation commemorated those who lost their lives on October 7 and we commend our students for the thoughtfulness, effort and creativity they put into it. #findyourself #honouringthosewelost #tanenbaumchat #october7
